What we do with your data?
There are several lawful bases on which SFV may hold your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Our primary lawful basis is about the collection and processing of your personal data. It is based on consent to hold this data, and we will ask for your permission to do so when you contact us. For example, this could be to allow us to send you information in the form of a newsletter or providing other information in response to a request from you for help and advice.
There are other lawful bases on which SFV may hold your data and they include the necessity for the performance of a service (eg: to allow us to provide you with information you may have requested), or to take steps to enter into providing a service and for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest (eg: keeping the SFV issues log).
SFV will hold your data securely and only for the minimum amount of time necessary. Electronic data is password protected and paper copies are held in a locked container. All personal data held after that time will be deleted (if held electronically) or shredded (if held on paper copies).
SFV cookies do NOT record information that could identify you. They are only used to help us improve how our website works, what interests our users, and cannot be used to trace any visitor to our site.
If you wish to know what data SFV holds about you, please contact us using the message box above and we will respond to your request as soon as possible (within one calendar month). We may request proof of identity before complying with your request.
You also have the right to ask us to delete your personal data ... just leave a message above.
